A mommy for Bao....

Bao is Matteo's little giraffe. It was the first stuffed toy I bought for Matteo when I started my adoption journey. It has become a special companion for Matteo who uses it for comfort and joy.  Bao means protection, and is Matteo's middle name, and has really become an appropriate name for him. On Wednesday we received a birthday package for Matteo from friends of ours M and J.  When we opened it out came another giraffe, which we have decided is Bao's mom. This photo shows Matteo's reaction to receiving this gift. He is holding both Bao and Bao's mommy....we have yet to decide on a name.  These days Matteo sure loves his stuffies!!
