Amazing weather, great long weekend...more holidays around the corner...

The weekend as everyone would agree went by too quickly! yet we have had such amazing weather which is continuing today.  Matteo and I had a great weekend, we enjoyed having company for barbecue on Friday to kick off the weekend and then being invited to a Canada day dinner to round it out.  Yesterday we enjoyed a long walk and some park time. Matteo is definitely a climber. This morning I did hear from the sw and she thinks we should be able to wrap up the update before we leave on a mini vacation later in the week....so that was good news. It would be nice to have it submitted so that it is one more thing to enjoy on the trip.  We are heading out first to visit a former student of mine who is now my friend, and then to Toronto to visit an exhibit that I had a small part in researching and preparing, and then to visit with one of the families, hoping two, that we travelled with. All three families adopted little boys who are close in age. Will be a great reunion!!....I'm so looking forward to it.
