Happy Canada day!

It is a beautiful morning here…Matteo and I may possibly head down town…he wants a beaver tail!….we're going to take the day as it comes and enjoy when life stops and we get a chance to relax without the pressure of doing anything in particular….Definitely each day my thoughts go out to Malio and pray that he stays healthy and strong and my prayers go out to all those who handle the paperwork in hopes that the process will be quick and smooth!

…for now just wanted to wish all the Canadians who follow this blog, a very Happy Canada day. I am posting a couple of photos of Matteo taken during the first summer in Canada in 2011, the first one in August and the second one in June.  The first was our first outing where Matteo was able to walk just holding my hand.  He was able to walk on his own later in September but his outfit is terrific for celebrating Canada.  The second was taken when we were getting ready for our trip to Italy and were trying out our new travel stroller.  How time has flown!
