This was the first time Matteo helped out with preparations though he has been
playing at washing dishes for a little while. I think we're going to have lots of fun
in the kitchen in addition to lots of messes. On Saturday he seemed to take it all so seriously, though hope the next time I'll get a few of his wonderful smiles too.
Love it! I bet he enjoyed eating those cupcakes as much as he did making them and licking the bowl! The best part of being a kid was getting to lick the bowl!
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth, I think Matteo enjoyed the making and the playing in the water...he's not crazy about chocolate and only took a couple of bites and left the rest...and as for licking the bowl...well he didn't get to do that either..when there's a raw egg in the mixture, probably won't let him lick the bowl..but when it's icing, for sure......we'll continue to take baby steps and hope one day he'll be making our evening supper!! ..
