Just got some amazing news. Got an email from my adoption agency this morning. TDH received confirmation on August 16, that my file to adopt a second child from Vietnam has been approved!! Yeah!! I cried when I read the email!!
The letter is dated August 9, ....as per my last post, I had only been told of the questions on my file on the 14th, though my sw was in contact responding to their questions in early August.
The homestudy was sent to the Ministry by courier on August 12, and at that time was told by my agency that turn around might be 4-6 weeks, and indeed it was processed and approved within the lower end of the timeline!!
Again as I have written, the second adoption in some ways is easier, but in other ways as I am discovering, so so so so so so very emotional and still very difficult!!
Congrats! Everyday is one day closer!
